It's Friday, and that means we're participating in the Blog Hop with Crazy for Books!

We here at the Blue Bookcase review mainly literary fiction, the classics, and creative non-fiction with literary merit. We've had some great posts this week.

This week's question: What's your favorite place to read?

I (Connie) love to read while lying down -- on the sofa, in bed, on the floor, in the yard... just give me a fuzzy blanket, a fluffy pillow, and something to munch on, then leave me alone for the next few hours! Plus, lying down is convenient for when I need to take a break and shut my eyes, just for a minute....

I am laying down too much I end up falling asleep! haha. I love to read just about anywhere, but I usually end up on the couch.

i can't read lying down, because i always fall asleep. sad, i know. i'm either propped up in the comfy sofa, or if it's late at night i'm in the no-comfy kitchen chairs, if only because that's the brightest light fixture in the apartment. Stupid apartment lighting.

I always get really tired if I'm reading laying down. My favorite place is the couch because I have a multitude of postion options - laying on my back, on my stomach with book on couch, laying on my stomach with book on floor, on my side, sitting up straight, sitting slouched with a pillow behind my back ... etc. So if I get tired I simply change positions.

I wish we had a blog hop just for people who read literary fiction. Well, and nonfiction. Good nonfiction. And children's picture books, of course.

I am amazed at how many bloggers read YA.
